The Context of this Story:
My own personal experiences in childhood and particular difficulties in learning and socialising, have motivated me to seek to better understand what it is that goes wrong for children who do not 'fit in' in various ways. The consequences, even when we get things a little wrong, is far reaching. Sometimes we get things seriously wrong and then refuse to accept that the consequences are the result of our compounded cultural errors. There are so many theories around, concerning Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Learning Difficulties, Schizoaffective Disorders, the nature of Intelligence, child development, language development, genetics, environment, the list goes on.
